Foot Valve or Bottom Valve
It is actually a type of check valve that acts to prevent backflow of water.
The bottom valve can be divided into plastic bottom valve and metal bottom valve according to the material, and can also be divided into common bottom valve and bottom valve with backwash flow.
Bottom valve is mainly used in mechanical equipments such as water pump and so on. Usually the bottom valve will be installed at the bottom of the underwater suction pipe of the pump to prevent backflow of the slurry.
The bottom valve is provided with a plurality of water inlets on the valve cover and is provided with a screen to reduce the inflow of debris and reduce the blocking probability of the bottom valve. The bottom valve is equipped with an anti-clogging screen.
